Jezzail evolution
El ejercito Skaven es el primer ejercito de fantasy que empece a pintar y unas de las primeras miniaturas que pinte fueron los mosquetes de Jezzail. Y aprovechando que últimamente he pintado otro Jezzail hago esta entrada para que se vea un poco la evolución de las miniaturas y la evolución de pintado.
Skaven army is the first fantasy army I started to paint and Jezzail team was one of the first miniatures I painted. Because I've painted another Jezzail I create this post to show a bit the evolution of miniature and my painting.
Primero os enseño las primera oleada que la pinte a hace más de 10 años.
First I want to show the first wave of Jezzail I painted more than 10 years ago.
Después amplie la unidad con 2 Jezzail más. Cuando pinte estas miniaturas todavía utilizada las tintas anteriores a la aparición de los lavados de Games Worksho.
Some years later I expand the unit with 2 Jezzail more. When I was painting these miniatures I still used the old washes before Games Workshop launch the new washes.
Y este es la último Jezzail que he pintado.

En la siguiente foto hay una comparación de la evolución del pintado y de las miniaturas. Como se puede ver en los primeros Jezzail eran más grandes después estilizaron tanto el arma como a los propios Skaven. También podemos ver que al principio venia cada Skaven con su peana independiente ya que en la edición en que aparecieron contaban como 2 miniaturas. En el pintado al principio utilice colores más vivos y he ido evolucionando hacia colores más pastel y tonos más marrones. La aparición de los lavados también tubo su influencia ya que desaparecieron los molestos brillos que de las tintas anteriores.
The next pictures show the evolution in painting and miniatures design. As can be seen in the first Jezzail were bulkier after the weapon was slimier as well as the Skaven themselves. We can also see that at first each Skaven has his own base because in at that time Jezzail team was composed of to independent miniatures. Looking at the painting we see that at the beginning used brighter colors and have evolved into more pastel colors and brown tones. The appearance of the new washes also had their influence, because annoying glare caused by the old inks had disappeared.
